Job Responsibilities :

• Interact extensively with various departments in the Client office Traders, Vessel Operators, Accounting, Claims, lay time specialists – and with Vessel Owners, Charterers etc.
• Negotiate with Charterers/ Vessel Owners
• Perform the below tasks on the process front:
• Prepare Hire statement with charterers and follow up for collection
• Issue Initial Freight Invoice on completion of loading
• Check for freight receipt and reconcile differences with Charterers remittances
• Check Statement of Facts (SOF) and calculate lay time for wners and Charterers basis charter party contract.
• Issue final invoice for demurrage claims and preferred client dispatch credits .
• Negotiate with charterers on Lay Time disputes.
• Ensure all owner expense account provisions are settled on a timely basis.
• Check final port DA expenses at load/ canal, bunker/ disport & recharge any owner expenseCheck any other incoming invoices relating to vessel operationPrepare Provisional Final Hire Statement and Final Hire Statement with ownersCheck for any outstanding claim item.Finalize voyages on a timely basis

Education: MBA/PGDM – Other Management, PG Diploma – Any Specialization, Other, Integrated PG – Any Specialization
