filling up of 02 posts of Project Assistant Jobs (non-PhDs) on purely
contractual basis positions. The NCL, preference will be given to candidates
having experience in maintenance of insect colony, especially mosquitoes and

1. Name of The Post: Project Assistant.
No. of Vacancies: 02 positions.
Age Limit: 28 years. Age relaxable as per the Govt rules.
Post Eligible Qualification: Candidate have M.Sc degree in
Entomology / Zoology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology from a recognized
University with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate).
Jobs Discipline: To maintain various insect colonies,
assistance in different experimental work and any other work assigned by project
leader.
Period of Contract: Initially 06 months which may be
extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored
project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may
be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR /
NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to
any right / claim whatsoever, implicit ro explicit, for his / her consideration
against any CSIR/NCL post / fellowship.
